Surgeonfish (Acanthuridae), also called Seebader. In a natural environment their venues are in equator waters. The name "Doctor Fish" is derived from the "scalpel" -like spinous processes at the root of the tail, concerning defense, or use it against conspecifics. All surgeonfish are diurnal fish, all day they are foraging. They eat mainly vegetable food. Most surgeonfish reach a body length of 30 to 40 centimeters and have a distinctive floating drive on, therefore, it is important to have an aquarium big enough.
